About the Conference
Put April 12-13, 2012 into your calendar today, because the 9th annual conference will be the event of the year for facility managers, facility directors and managers, veterinarians, vendors, designers, and architects, from all over the world! Last year’s event was the best-attended and best-rated ever by customers and TurnKey 2012 already promises to surpass that record. It is two days of information that’s absolutely essential for anyone building, renovating, or operating a laboratory animal facility. The conference is designed to provide useful information and ideas on how to update or design laboratories to be more efficient and economical, and how to avoid the common pitfalls and costly mistakes.
The 2012 TurnKey Conference provides two days of inspiration, enrichment, practical knowledge, and skill building opportunities targeted to your professional needs. The program includes:
- In-depth sessions designed to focus your experience
- AAALAC Accreditation sessions
- American Institute of Architects and RACE continuing education units
- Best practice advice from industry experts
- Breakfast roundtables with in-depth discussions on best practices & latest trends
- Ample opportunity to network with like-minded professionals and exchange ideas
- Opportunities to explore new product offerings in the Conference Exposition
- Conference materials and presentations on a consolidated Flash Drive
We are pleased to once again be joined by the Veterinary Bioscience Institute (VBI) to present the 2nd Clinical Track Seminar entitled "Collaborations and Conversations: Practical Guidance for Refinements in Biomedical Research" to discuss and debate important challenges facing the laboratory animal community in enrichment, surgery, biomethodologies and pathology in research. This 2-day seminar will be extremely pertinent for clinical and scientific staff members, surgical professionals, veterinarians and investigators alike. The entire ALN® Magazine and ALN World™ teams are thrilled to host the TurnKey Conference as it is our once-a-year opportunity to connect with old friends and new acquaintances. We value the time spent with you and appreciate your thoughts on industry trends and vision. We hope that our educational training, insightful tips and expert advice help you to experience the advantages that come with attending this event.
Additional information about the conference will be posted on this site as it becomes available, so check back often!
