Bio: John F. Bradfield, DVM, Ph.D., ACLAM, Senior Director, AAALAC International
Dr. John Bradfield is the Senior Director for AAALAC International. He has served as Director of the Division of Laboratory Animal Medicine and Attending Veterinarian at UNC, Chapel Hill, and also as Chair for the Department of Comparative Medicine at East Carolina University. He has had many years experience on animal care and use committees and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the North Carolina Academy of Laboratory Animal Medicine.

Dr. Ron Banks serves as Director of the Office of Animal Welfare Assurance at Duke University. He is a member of the Founding Committee for the development of an American College of Animal Welfare and presently serves as a member of the Council on Accreditation of AAALAC International. Dr. Banks has authored numerous publications and presentations including a chapter in the most recent edition of the IACUC Handbook.
