Get with the Program: Steps to Establish a Program for a Successful Renovation Project
Every successful solution is a result of correctly identifying the problem. Whether the "problem" for vivarium operators is an expansion, an upgrade, or correcting a deficiency, to be successful the program must accurately and clearly define the appropriate solution and stay within budget. With the number of stakeholders in a vivarium renovation project the "appropriate solution" can be a matter of opinion. This presentation will elaborate on the earliest stage of a project where tools and techniques used in Discovery, Diagnosis and Definition form the "Program" to ensure that it will withstand the design process and deliver the project approved at the onset.
