The Post Occupancy Evaluation: Building Metamorphosis to Minor Modes

This presentation examines several case studies to explore specific changes that are warranted for vivarium facilities, after the building has been occupied.  What drives the need for these changes?  How can buildings be adapted to accommodate these needs?  Although modifications come at a price, these costs are often outweighed by the need to comply with more stringent safety requirements or the need to control ongoing maintenance and operations costs.
