1. How do I become a speaker for the TurnKey Conference?

2. What are the presentation requirements?
Speakers are expected to provide knowledgeable presentations that include the latest trends, technology, and ideas. Presentations should be non-commercial and not promote a particular product or company. Presentations that qualify for learning units awarded by the American Institute of Architects will require the inclusion of 3 – 4 mandatory AIA slides. All graphics and slides should not include company logos or other commercial content. Your presentation should be in PowerPoint on a PC platform. All sessions are 45 minutes in length, plus 5-10 minutes for questions.
3. How many people are expected to attend the 2011 TurnKey Conference?
Typical attendance is around 300.
4. Will vendors/exhibitors also be in attendance?
Yes. Industry-specific vendors will be exhibiting in an area adjacent to the TurnKey conference sessions, presenting the latest products, services, and technologies.
5. What overnight accommodations are available for speakers?
The 2011 TurnKey Conference will be held at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel, Baltimore, MD. See the hotel section of this site for details.
Please Note: The TurnKey Conference does not pay for airfare and/or hotel accommodations for speakers. You do receive free registration to the conference, as well as promotion in conference materials and marketing pieces.
6. How do I find the hotel/conference site?

7. When and where do I sign in, once I'm at the TurnKey conference site?
Registration will be held in the conference area on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 7:00 pm and Thursday, April 14, 2010 beginning at 7:30 am. Just follow the signs once you're at the hotel.
8. What are the conference hours?
Conference hours are Thursday, April 14, 2011 7:45 am-5:00 pm and Friday, April 15, 2011 8:00 am-4:00 pm.
Exhibit hours are Thursday, April 14, 2011 7:45 am-5:00 pm and Friday, April 15, 2011 8:00 am-2:00 pm.
A cocktail reception for exhibitors, speakers, and attendees will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 5:00 pm.
9. What breaks are scheduled throughout each day?
Breakfast, lunch, and two breaks per day will be held in the exhibit area.
10. Is there a speaker ready room?
Yes.
11. What if I need computer/Internet/copying services?
The host hotel business center is able to provide most typical business services.
12. Will TurnKey attendees be provided with name badges?
Yes. All conference participants must wear name badges while in the conference area. Exhibitors and Speakers will be provided ribbons consistent with their level of registration to display with their name badge.
13. How can I promote my TurnKey presentation?
We ask that you partner with us in conference promotion by notifying clients and potential customers of your presentation.
